On average it takes us 2-3 hours to replace a window or door, so we can typically fit 3-4 windows or doors a day. Do bear in mind that this is an average. Sometimes we can replace more if working conditions are easy (easy access to the area, no crooked window frames, standard sizes and so on), and sometimes fewer if conditions are complicated or if you're having, say, a large sliding door fitted. We always work in pairs on each individual window or door, as that's by far the quickest and best way to fit one.
You get a minimum 5-year guarantee on all new doors and windows, in line with the standard product guarantee here in Denmark. Some products even come with a 10-year guarantee (we can point you to which ones). On top of that, you have a 2-year guarantee on the work itself. That means for up to 2 years after installation, you can have any installation faults on your new windows or doors put right.
It's always skilled carpenters who come and install your new windows or doors. Several even hold the title of "vinduesmester" (window master), which means they've trained with a speciality in windows and doors. We work with selected trade partners whose carpenters carry out the installation itself, so you may notice the carpenters wearing a shirt with a company name other than "Nye Vinduer". Of course, we'll always let you know which partner we're using for your project.
